impermanent.ink 🐙

A wave hello 🌊

Hey there, welcome. Named for the ephemeral nature of online writing, impermanent.ink is a blog. Just a blog, not a brand; not any kind of multiplatform digital content phantasmagoria. No videos, no tweets. Like all the best blogs, it's published intermittently and anonymously. There's no set schedule, and you'll likely never know my name.

But I'm happy to let you know a little bit about me. My perspectives arrive forged by three decades or so of life as a caucasian male in North America, with a childhood spent largely outside and an adolescence spent largely online. After earning two degrees and spending a few years in a career as a copywriter for marketing and public relations agencies, I've been surprised to find myself terminally unemployed.

I'm interested in a wide variety of subjects: the fraught relationship between nature and human society, the perils of social media, the decline of search engines, the artificial intelligence hellsphere, the false promises of video games, the ludicrous lies of religion, the beautiful clarity of whole-food plant-based eating, strange scars left by emotionally immature parents, spending as much time as possible without the internet (offlinemaxxing?), and so much more. You'll find all of these topics in my current and future blog posts.

I hope you enjoy my writing; thank you for reading. Please send any questions, comments, criticisms, or witticisms to impermanent.ink@pm.me.
